Southern Zonal Prayer Summit 2026: Rooted in Christ, Shining in the world. (Colossians 2:6-7)
It was a summit of reawakening of Faith and Fellowship.
From June 19th to 20th, 2026, the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS), NDU Chapter, had the distinct privilege of hosting the Southern Zonal Prayer Summit at the Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State. It was an extraordinary weekend of intense prayer, deep reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation.
Highlights of the Summit:
The summit was a beautiful testament to the power of unity in the body of Christ. Key moments included:
- Unified Intercession: Medical and dental students from different universities across the zone stood shoulder-to-shoulder, lifting their voices in powerful, collective prayer.
- Spiritual Transformation: Lives were visibly touched, hearts were healed, and many were deeply moved to strengthen their relationship with God.
The spiritual charges and fellowship challenged us to remain firmly rooted in our Catholic faith, ready to step back into our hospitals and lecture halls as burning lights.
