LASU CONVENTION 2022
The National Convention held at Lagos State University (LASU) in August 2022 was the first physical convention in two years after the COVID-19 pandemic. This highly anticipated event brought together FECAMDSITES from across the country.

Day 1: Thursday
- Arrival and Registration
- Arrival Mass
- Praise Night

- Meet and greet (reconnecting with old friends)
- Lights Out
Day 2: Friday
- Thanksgiving Mass (presided by the Bishop of Lagos Archdiocese, represented by a Monsignor)
- Procession of chapters in their uniforms
- Photo Session
- Symposia (discussions on health, the Catholic Church, society, etc.)
- General Assembly (review of the 2021/2022 administration and other key discussions)
- Variety Night
- Dinner
- Lights Out
Day 3: Saturday
- Retreat (morning fasting and reflection)
- Quiz Competition
- Sightseeing
- National Executive Council Meeting and Elections
- Dinner Night (award-giving session and celebration)
- Games and Sports (egg race, skipping, Ludo, etc.)
Day 4: Sunday
- Departure
Additional Notes
– The convention had a strong presence of alumni and patrons.
– Partners like ANSA (Association of Nigerian Student Authors) made presentations.
– Virtual representatives from Ghana, Rwanda, and FECAMDS Uganda sent goodwill messages.
