On 1st June 2024, we reached out to a rural community in Plateau State called Fobur, Jos East local government area. Our holistic approach included: free medical screenings, counselling sessions, administration of medications, health education, distribution of clothing items and other related activities.
A special session was carved for the children in order to bond with them. We also played with them, prayed for them and taught them from the scriptures. They were obviously happy and couldn’t hide their joy as we shared a lot of goodies for them.
Fobur community and its inhabitants were warm and welcoming. They gladly received us and all that we had for them. The traditional rulers and community leaders extended their gratitude to FECAMDS for reaching out to their populace as they prayed for God’s blessings in all our future endeavors.
