2025 FECAMDS National Medical Outreach
The 2025 edition of the FECAMDS National Medical Outreach, hosted by the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU) Chapter, was a tremendous success.
Date: 7th June 2025
Venue: St. Peter Claver’s Catholic Church, Nnewichi, Nnewi
Originally planned for one church community, the outreach expanded to impact more persons from the town, with a turnout that exceeded all expectations.
The event featured:
– Spiritual care, including the Sacrament of Penance
– Practical health education
– Basic medical screenings and consultations
– Distribution of free medications
Medical students from Delta State University and other institutions participated, offering vital healthcare services to the community.
The National Rural Outreach initiative was pioneered by Dr. Christopher Ebube Mbah, a graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology and former National Vice-President of FECAMDS Nigeria.
